For this year's Long Night of Gemstones on 12 April, which opens at the Industrial Monument Jakob Bengel in the presence of the Gemstone Queen Vivian Heidrich, the Bengel team has come up with a special offer in addition to the usual free guided tours, which is also free of charge for guests.

Bärbel Busch and Nada Vitz met while studying drawing and sculpture at the Weißenseifen artists' symposium and are active as artists in a variety of ways.

During the Long Night of Gemstones, both artists create spontaneous blind drawings of our visitors.

These drawings, which are created in ‘one go’ in a matter of seconds and then coloured, can be taken away by our visitors and link their portrait to an enjoyable visit to the industrial monument.
