Industrial Monument Jakob Bengel awarded as Museum of the Month April 2025

The Industrial Monument Jakob Bengel receives the Museum of the Month Award for April 2025.

The ‘Museum of the Month’ award, which is endowed with €1000, has been presented by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry for Family Affairs, Women, Culture and Integration since August 2022. It aims to spotlight the work of small and medium-sized museums in particular. The award recognizes museums with outstanding successful exhibition projects on local, regional, or state history, innovative educational ideas, interesting digital offerings, successful participation projects, successful measures to implement accessibility, exceptional social commitment, exemplary projects to preserve or develop collections, or remarkable intergenerational civic engagement projects. The Ministry of Culture is supported in the selection of the awards by the Rhineland-Palatinate Museum Association.

The award ceremony will take place on site and will be presented by the State Secretary Prof Dr Jürgen Hardeck.
