12 alumni and students of the university in Idar-Oberstein chose a brooch from an important private collection of classical jewellery and created an exciting bridge between history and the avant-garde with a newly made creation. Using new materials and new technical possibilities, these artists show that a traditional piece of jewellery can be contrasted with the idea of a contemporary implementation.
