The Iranian and Nigerian artists will be presenting the results of their Master's studies at the Idar-Oberstein Gemstone and Jewellery Campus. The cultural roots, rituals and social situation of their home countries resonate in all their works: Nioosha's work deals with the position of women in Islamic society; Chidimma's work addresses masquerade and identity; his thesis redefines jewellery as an extension of the mask.
