Silent wealth

We cordially invite you to the lecture "Silent Wealth" by Kornelius Götz M.A., freelance specialist planner for restoration on Friday, 22 September 2023, 18:30 at the Jakob Bengel Industrial Monument.

The lecture shows the long journey from the colloquium in Idar-Oberstein in 2005 to the opening after the restoration in 2018, demonstrating how the restoration goal of "preventive conservation" was developed and how it was realised. The constructive involvement of local stakeholders and other participants was of paramount importance for the sustainability of all restoration measures. The lecture will therefore conclude by explaining the concept of social negotiation of restoration.
